Yıldız Savaşları fanatikleri onu Büyük Morf Tarkin olarak tanıyorlar fakat onun kariyerinde 100’ün üzerinde film ve televizyon yapımı vardır. 1913 yılında İngiltere’de doğan aktör Londra’nın ünlü okulu Guildhall ‘da müzik ve drama eğitimi aldı. 1940’lara kadar ufak rollerde görev aldı. 1994 yılında 81 yaşında kanserden ölmüştür.
